Check out our friend Gracie's blog on our list of favorites. Gracie unicycled from coast-to-coast a couple years ago and became the youngest woman ever to do so (she had just graduated from Duke). She stayed overnight at our place and we thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with the buffest woman on Planet Earth! A record of her trip is at onewheelforlife.blogspot.com. On both blogs she has some amazing photos of Out West - some of the best I've ever seen.
Something you might not know about unicycling -- there are no brakes and you can't let off the pedals to coast. That means to slow on a downhill you have to apply to the speeding-up pedals firm resistance with your knees. Try this on a bicycle. It's not easy!
